Why We're Building This
When we started Yumari in January 2023, we saw a massive gap in cross-border manufacturing: the entire process relied on emails, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, and manual coordination. Finding the right factory, predicting production risks, ensuring quality—all of it was reactive, fragmented, and dependent on tribal knowledge.
We realized that what manufacturing needed wasn't just better suppliers or faster shipping. It needed intelligent infrastructure—AI systems that could standardize messy RFQs, match buyers with optimal factories, predict delays before they happen, and learn from every transaction.
So we built it.
Our Story
Founded in January 2023, Yumari was built to solve a fundamental problem: cross-border manufacturing was running on outdated, manual processes. We saw that AI and machine learning could transform how buyers find factories, predict risks, and manage production—but nobody was building the infrastructure to make it happen. So we did.
Our founding team combined deep manufacturing expertise with AI/ML engineering to build six core engines: RFQ standardization, supplier matchmaking, production forecasting, autonomous QA, cross-border agent automation, and regional intelligence. Each engine solves a specific friction point in the manufacturing process, and together they create a learning system that gets smarter with every transaction.
Today, 22+ businesses trust our AI infrastructure to manage manufacturing across 65+ factories in Latin America. We've optimized 500+ products, and our machine learning models continue to improve with each transaction—making supplier matching faster, risk prediction more accurate, and quality control more reliable.
